McHealthy ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our mobile application (the "App") available at mchealthyapp.com.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: If you sign in, we collect your email address, unique User ID (UID), and authentication provider method (Google, Apple, or Email) to manage your account and preferences.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous metrics regarding app performance and feature usage (e.g., number of recipes generated) to improve our service.
• Device Information: We generate and store a unique device identifier ("Install ID") to enforce usage limits for our free tier. This ID persists on your device but is not linked to your personal identity unless you sign in.
• Images: When you upload or scan food, the images are processed by our AI providers to generate the recipe. We do not sell your images, and we do not use them for advertising purposes. Images are used solely to provide the core service features.
• Purchase Data: Transaction history and subscription status are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and verified via RevenueCat. We do not store or have access to your credit card information.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

To respect your privacy, we explicitly do NOT collect:

• Precise Location Data (GPS)
• Contact Lists or Phone Book access
• Health Records from Apple Health or Google Fit (unless explicitly connected in future updates)

3. Security & International Transfer

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and secure access controls via Google Firebase. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure.

Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers (Google, Apple, RevenueCat) operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

4. Application Tracking Transparency

We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes. We do not sell your data to data brokers.

5. Service Providers & Third-Party Sharing

We use trusted third-party services to operate the App. Your data may be processed by:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication, database (Firestore), cloud functions, and secure image storage.
• Google Gemini (AI): To analyze food images and generate recipes. Data sent to Gemini is subject to Google's data processing terms.
• RevenueCat: To validate and manage subscription receipts from Apple and Google.
• Unsplash: To provide generic food images (if applicable).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. AI Processing

Our App uses Google's Generative AI features unless you use template-based results. While we do not use your personal data to train public AI models directly, data processed by third-party AI providers is subject to their respective privacy policies.

7. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Images: User-uploaded images may be cached temporarily for performance optimization or stored if you save them as favorites.
• Usage Limits: Your Install ID and usage counts are retained to prevent abuse of the free tier.

8. Your Rights & Deletion

You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal data.

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and associated data directly within the App's "Settings" or "Profile" screen. This permanently removes your account, favorites, and history from our servers.
• Request by Email: You may also request data deletion by contacting us at support@mchealthyapp.com.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
